FGS has performed the Hazardous Materials Evaluation portion of PD&E Studies forFDOT throughout Florida. The Hazardous Materials Evaluation Reports are preparedby FGS for inclusion in the overall design documents. An integral part of these studies is the identification and documentation of current land uses along the proposed roadway right-of-way, location of the underground storage tanks atroadside gas stations, and the delineation of other areas along the proposed alignment that may be potentially hazardous or unsuitable due to past or current land use (landfills, industries, etc.).
